How does the order of merit and stroke averages work?

Order of Merit
36 hole tournament is allocated a total of 1750 points.
72 hole and 54 hole tournaments are allocated 3500 points.
These points are given to the first 30 players in each tournament , the winner of a 36 hole tournament getting 200 points and the winner of a 72 or 54 hole tournament getting 400 points. There is a reduction of 10% of the points for second to third place all the way down to 30th place. The winner of the Order of Merit is the player with the most points in the golfing year.
Stroke Average
In order to qualify for the stroke average award a player has to play at least 60% of the rounds in any golfing year. The winner is that golfer with the lowest stroke average taking his best 60% of scores into account provided he has played the minimum rounds stipulated.
